ACF Custom Fields Usage

Impreza was developed to support the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) as the most popular WordPress plugin. It allows to create custom fields and display their values on website pages. You can install it on the Addons admin page.
Impreza supports:

Supported ACF Field Types #
Text, Link and Image selection settings in all elements #
Supported ACF field types are described in Dynamic Values.
Post Custom Field element #
The "Show" option supports the following ACF field types:
- Text
- Text Area
- Number
- Range
- Url
- Password
- Image
- Wysiwyg Editor
- oEmbed
- Select
- Checkbox
- Radio Button
- Button Group
- Date Picker
- Date Time Picker
- Time Picker
- Color Picker
- Page Link
- Group - Allows using the listed fields pasted inside the ACF Group field. Only the first-level child fields are supported. If a Group field contains an inner Group with sub-fields, these sub-fields won't be available in the interface.
- Repeater - Repeater and Flexible Content as sub-fields are not shown
- Flexible Content - Repeater and Flexible Content as sub-fields are not shown

Grid Filter element #
It supports the following ACF field types:
- Number
- Range
- Select
- Checkbox

FAQ #
Which ACF or SCF plugin should I use? #
Currently Impreza supports both SCF and ACF versions. This will continue to be the case unless their code is drastically different in future updates. If there are major differences, the ACF plugin will be given priority.
Is ACF PRO included / bundled in Impreza? #
It was, however, ACF PRO authors asked us to stop bundling their plugin within Impreza for new customers. The criterion is the date of purchase of the Impreza license, this was an agreement with the ACF management.
Impreza license purchased BEFORE August 31, 2024:
- allows to install the ACF PRO plugin for free from our server. You can do it on the Addons admin page.
- allows to update the ACF PRO plugin for free from our server. You are able to do it on the Plugins admin page.
Impreza license purchased AFTER August 31, 2024:
- doesn't have the free access to the ACF PRO plugin. But you're able to purchase it separately on their site.
- doesn't allow to update the ACF PRO plugin from our server. But if you purchased a separate license for the plugin, you will be able to update it from their servers (like with any other WP theme).
This difference does not affect the functionality of the plugin or future support from Impreza. We'll continue and extend supporting ACF fields in theme elements.
