Compatible Plugins

All plugins in the list below are supported by Impreza:

WPBakery Page Builder #

WPBakery Page Builder is bundled into the theme, so you don't need to buy it separately. This premium plugin allows you to build the layout of your website pages.

To use a page builder just click on the "Backend Editor" button when editing a page:

Do I need the WPBakery Page Builder to create/edit content with Impreza? #

The WPBakery plugin is not required. You can use our Live Builder to build all website pages. These two builders are made to be interchangeable. I.e. page created in one of the builders can be edited just fine in the other.

How to activate WPBakery Page Builder? #

You don't need to activate the WPBakery, it works with Impreza by default as a bundled addon. You just need to activate the Impreza to receive the WPBakery updates.

How to enable WPBakery Page Builder for the portfolio, posts, products, and page blocks? #

To activate the WPBakery Page Builder for the Portfolio Items, Posts or Products go to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager and select the corresponding checkboxes there:

Can I use the standalone WPBakery Page Builder, with all its features? #

First of all, you need to know that there is no difference between:

  • WPBakery Page Builder archive, which is bundled with Impreza.
  • WPBakery Page Builder archive, which is downloaded from the CodeCanyon site.

They are identical.

Impreza slightly changes the original plugin functionality due to performance, compatibility, and UX reasons:

  1. Adds own options and removes non-compatible options for some elements such as Row and Column.
  2. Disables some original content elements that are similar to the theme elements.
  3. Disables Grid Builder and related content elements (Media Grid, Post Grid, Media Masonry Grid, Masonry Post Grid).
  4. Modifies WPBakery Page Builder interface for better user experience.

You can reactivate disabled features at Theme Options > Advanced Settings > Website Performance, by turning off the "Disable extra features of WPBakery Page Builder" option.

How to Enable Missing Content Elements? #

Extra features of WPBakery Page Builder will reduce your website load speed and performance. Also, some of the WPBakery elements could be not fully supported by Impreza and not styled properly.

Some of the content elements that come with WPBakery Builder are disabled by default. Check the screenshot with those elements:

You can enable them on Impreza > Theme Options > Advanced by turning off the "Disable extra features of WPBakery Page Builder" switch:

Slider Revolution #

Official plugin documentation

The Slider Revolution plugin allows you to create custom-designed sliders. This premium plugin is the theme addon, you need to activate the theme to install and update it.

Do I Need a Key to Activate? #

Slider Revolution provides access to its basic features and slider builder, and you don't need a license key to access it. However, if you want to access the premium features (like slider templates) you need to have a separate license for it.

How to Get Slider Templates? #

The template base of pre-designed sliders is considered Premium content by the Slider Revolution developers and thus requires a stand alone license to use.

AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) is a special format of website pages, that allows improving the loading speed and performance on mobiles. Check the AMP FAQ for more information.

AMP Usage Recommendations #

Since the AMP format has specific limitations:

  • No JavaScript allowed
  • 75 KB maximum CSS size
  • changed HTML markup (like <amp-img> instead of <img>)

so its usage is very limited at the moment.

AMP page on Impreza:

  • disables any animations, visual effects, complex interactions, hover states
  • hides some complex theme elements (like Grid Filter)
  • changes layout of some theme elements for "Mobiles first" displaying (like Menu)

That's why we recommend enabling AMP on simple pages with the minimum interactive elements, like blog articles.

How to Enable AMP on Your Website for Mobiles #

  1. Install the AMP plugin, this is the best way for WordPress sites.
  2. Go to AMP > Settings and select "Transitional" template mode. Also, enable the "Redirect mobile visitors to AMP" option.
  3. In the "Supported Templates" section select types, which have the relevant frontend pages (like Posts, Pages, Portfolio).
  4. Click the "Save Changes" button.
  5. Also, we recommend go to Theme Options > Advanced > Website Performance and click the "Auto Optimize" button. This helps to decrease the global CSS file size.

Now when you open your website page (of selected content types only) on a mobile device, you will see the AMP version of that page. It should load quickly.

How to Test AMP Work for Specific Page #

When you enable AMP as described above, you can see the "AMP" menu in the admin bar:

Click "View AMP version" to see the page in AMP format. If the page is fully supported, you'll see the green check:

If the page has some issues, you'll see the yellow sign:

In most cases, the reason is 3rd-party plugins or custom modifications.

Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder #

We strongly recommend not to use the Ultimate Addons plugin to improve your site performance and loading speed.

This plugin adds new elements to the WPBakery Page Builder. The original plugin documentation is located at

This plugin can be installed and updated only manually.
